According to Article 26 of the Procurement Code (D. Lgs n. 50/2016), Astra Engineering carries out the activity of “Verification for validation purposes” after obtained the specific certification for this activity by integrating the requirements of UNI EN ISO 9001 with the provisions of SINCERT Technical Regulation 21 (nowadays ACCREDIA).

The purpose of the design verification is to identify the correspondence between the objectives required by the standard with the design and documentary requirements of each individual design stage (technical and economic feasibility study, final, executive). Specifically, according to the Public Contracts Code, compliance with the design solution chosen is verified with the specific functional, performance, regulatory and technical provisions contained in the feasibility study and subsequent documents.

Astra Engineering carries out the project verification service for validation for about 5 years.
